    Starting in Manlius, NY (near Syracuse), Harry Morgan has been in the model train business since 1979. Bear Essential was registered as our trade name in Onondaga County in 1979. Our Manlius store, in addition to model trains, carried collector teddy bears from Steiff, North American Bear, Cooperstown Bears, Raikes, and Hermann.  We moved our business to Carrollton Georgia in 1985 and opened Bear Essentials, continuing to retail collector teddy bears and model trains. The extensive use of the name Bear Essentials by other businesses of all sorts, has led us to a different name for our web business. Our retail store in Villa Rica, GA is a registered retailer for various model train companies. Among them are MTH, Lionel, LGB, Marklin, and LifeLike. We also retain the logo of Bear Essentials for our Villa Rica store while our web address is www.harrysrailyard.com.
